Personally, generative AI diminishes enjoyment. I still derive pleasure from pixel creation and minor animations. My independent creative process remains fulfilling. However, obvious AI imagery - alongside middle-aged practitioners plagiarizing sometimes younger hobbyists - generates disappointment and emptiness. This concerns stylistic and personal essence loss rather than mere effort reduction. The outcome becomes defacement (echoing Eliot) rather than inspired enhancement. Even sophisticated AI collaborations obscure where instructions end and manual artistry begins.
